Spider Lily Tour
The Rocky Shoals Spider Lily is a beautiful flower native to rivers located in South Carolina, Georgia and Alabama. The flowers gather and bloom from the river bedrock it anchors into. Spider lilies are considered a Federal Species of Concern by the United States Fish & Wildlife. They begin to bloom around April and begin to slow down in June. With a concentration of Spider Lilies beds along the Saluda River, this trip makes for an exciting adventure for the whole family. Plenty of great opportunities to photograph a rare flower in the south.
